HENBURY AND BRENTRY COMMUNITYCOUNCIL

QUARTERLY MEETING HELD ON THURSDAY 21st JANUARY 2010. AT EMMANUEL CHAPEL.

CHAIRMAN Ted Marshall

TREASURER Tim Parkinson

MINUTE SECRETARY Roy Pepworth.

33 people attended the meeting Apologies Cheryl Coles.

Claire Cook and Sue Tunstall gave an update on the plan for the Inspiring Communities project as discussed at the October meeting. These will include a link-up with the City Academy in Redfield and local community involvement.

Minutes of the previous meeting were approved with the following amends:- to read Rose Can and Richard Pyle requested that the words NO HOUSING be allowed on the green space formerly the swimming pool ground and beyond. HENBURY WARD REPORT. Both councillors gave a report on the current position. The partnership was still active with Southmead.

POLICE. There had been an improvement in the area with a reduction in reported incidents.

FINANCIAL The treasurer reported a good financial situation.

WALKING GROUP. Goes from strength to strength.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS. There were no major issues.

The meeting closed at 8.53pm.

NEXT MEETING THURSDAY 15TH APRIL 2010 AT EMMANUEL CHAPEL SATCHFIELD CRESCENT, HENBURY AT 7.30PM.
